Ingredients
    INGREDIENTS
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 Cloves Garlic ((Peeled & Crushed))
  • 1 Large Onion ((Chopped))
  • 1 Medium Carrot ((Chopped))
  • 1 Stick Celery ((Chopped))
  • 500 g Beef Mince
  • 2 cup Beef Stock
  • 1.5 cup Red Wine
  • 850 g Tinned Tomatoes ((2 Tins))
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley ((Chopped Fine))
  • Salt & Pepper ((For taste))
Instructions
    METHOD:
  1. 1. Heat oil in a large deep pan.
  2. 2. Add your Garlic, Onions, Carrots and Celery and cook for 5 minutes on a low heat until Golden.
  3. 3. Increase Heat and add your mince, breaking it with a fork and stir while cooking, when brown add Stock, Wine, Undrained Tomatoes, Sugar and Parsley.
  4. 4. Bring to boil and the reduce heat and let it simmer for about 1 1/2 hours, you have to stir in occasionally.
  5. 5. Add your Salt & Pepper as per your taste.

TIPS: SAUCE CAN BE USED COLD FOR LAYERING IN A LASAGNE. SAUCE CAN BE MADE A DAY BEFORE AD STORED IN THE FRIDGE.
