Chili Infuced Weber Flank Steak

Ingredients
    INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 kg Flank Steak OR Skirt Steak
  • Sea Salt ((For Taste))
  • Ground Pepper ((For Taste))
  • INGREDIENTS FOR RUB:
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Pepper
  • 1/3 tsp Cinnamon
Instructions
    METHOD:
  1. 1. In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients for the Flank rub and mix well. .
  2. 2. Lightly coat the Flank Steak on both sides with oil and season on both sides with the the rub. Allow the Steak to stand at room temperature for 15-30 minutes before grilling.
  3. 3. Prepare the Weber for direct cooking over high heat 230 - 290 degrees
  4. 4. Brush the cooking grates clean. Grill the steak over grilling/direct high heat with the lid closed, until cooked to your desired of done, 8 - 10 minutes for a medium rare done turning once. Remove the Steak from the Weber and leave to rest for 3-5 minutes.
  5. 5. Cut the Steak across the grain into 5-mm (the thinner the slices, the more tender the meat will be). Serve the meat warm with a Salad of your choice. If liked, season the meat with a little more salt.
