Tuna Pasta Bake

A unique way of infusing Tuna and Pasta as a dish with Italian and USA flavours.

Ingredients
  • 185 g Shredded Tuna (1 Tin)
  • 100 g Onions (Cut into Rings)
  • 1 Large Garlic Clove (Crushed Finely)
  • 1 Sweet Chilli (Cleaned and cut in Strips)
  • 280 g Whole Peeled Tomatoes (1 Tin)
  • 1/2 cup White Wine
  • 2 tsp Corn Flour
  • 1 tbsp Chutney
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp White Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Italiaan Herbs
  • 1/2 tsp Red Pepper
  • 2 cup Screw Noodles
  • 1 cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
  • 80 g Black Pepper and Salt (for Taste)
Instructions
  1. METHOD: 1. Pre - Heat Oven to 180 degrees.
  2. 2. Take a Oven Bake Pan and rub a thin layer of olive oil on the inside.
  3. 3. Drain the Tuna and keep the oil seperate.
  4. 4. Fry the Onion, Garlic and Sweet Chilli in the oil of the Tuna tin.
  5. 5. When almost done add the Chunky Tomatoes, White Wine and the sauce of the tin tomatoes to the fried ingriendents. Bring it to boil.
  6. 6. Bring the heat down to a medium and take the Cornflower mix it with abit of water and add it slowly to your mix untill nice and thick.
  7. 7. Put final sauce in a mixing bowl and add the other ingrienents (Cooked Pasta Screw) mix all ingredients well.
  8. 8. Place it your baking pan and cover your ingredients with the grated cheese. place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and have a golden colour.
Recipe Notes

TIP: Serve in nice portions with a salad of your choice on the side. You can use any type of Pasta for this dish.
