Ingredients
    INGREDIENTS
  • 15 ml Cooking Oil
  • 2 Medium Onions ((Peeled & Sliced Into Rings))
  • 3 Garlic Cloves ((Crushed))
  • 900 g Warthog ((Marinated) +- 1 Day))
  • 200 g Button Mushrooms
  • 30 ml Fresh Ginger ((Minced))
  • 10 ml Soya Sauce
  • 10 ml Honey
  • 10 ml Red Wine Vinegar
  • 125 g Spring Onions ((Sliced))
  • 30 g Fresh Coriander ((Chopped Fine))
Instructions
    MARINADE METHOD:
  1. YOU CAN MARINADE YOUR WARTHOG THE EVENING BEFORE IN A NICE RED WINE AND ASSORTED SPICES, YOU CAN ALSO ADD ABIT OF COKE IN THE READ WINE TO MAKE YOUR MEAT TENDER.
  2. METHOD:
  3. 1. Heat the oil in a large Wok or frying pan, Saute the onions until golden brown and tender.
  4. 2. Add the Garlic, Warthog Slices, Mushrooms and Ginger and stir fry for 2 minutes.
  5. 3. Mix together the Soya Sauce, Honey and Vinegar and then add to the wok. Stir and simmer for 4 minutes.
  6. 4. Add the Spring Onions and Coriander Leaves and serve immediately with steamed Rice.
