Cheesy Chorizo Wedges:

Combination of Cheese and Salsa on Tortilla Wedges.

Ingredients
    INGREDIENTS:
  • 250 g Red & Green Salsa
  • 225 g Chorizo Sausages
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese ((Grated))
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese ((Grated))
  • 3 Flour Tortillas ((25 cm in Diameter))
Instructions
    METHOD:
  1. 1. Prepare Red & Green Salsa as per Method.( Will find Recipe on site under Sauce Recipes)
  2. 2. Remove and discards casings from Chorizo Sausages. Heat medium skillet over high heat until hot, reduce heat to medium and crumble Chorizo into skillet and brown for 6 - 8 minutes. Remove from skillet and drain oil with paper towel.
  3. 3. Preheat oven on 230 degrees, Mix Cheese in bowl.
  4. 4. Place Tortillas on baking sheet. Divide Chorizo evenly among Tortillas leaving 1/4 inch of edges open. Sprinkle Cheese mixture over the top.
  5. 5. Bake 8 - 10 minutes until edges are crisp and golden and cheese is bubbly and melted.
  6. 6. Transfer to serving plate and cut each tortilla into 6 wedges. Sprinkle Red & Green Salsa on wedges if desire or serve on the side.
