Home made Chicken Wraps

Home made Tortillas with a Chicken Filling.

Ingredients
    WRAP INGRIEDIENTS
  • 2 cup Cake Flour
  • 100 ml Water
  • 80 g MIxed Spice
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • CHICKEN FILLING
  • 3 Chicken Breasts ((Cut in Strips))
  • 1 tsp Chilli Spice
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 80 g Butter or Margarine
  • 1/2 Carrot cut in Julian ((Thin Strips))
  • 1 tsp Crushed Garlic
  • 100 g Chopped Lettuce
  • 100 ml Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Achaar
  • 200 g Grated Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
    WRAP DOUG MIX AND PREP
  1. 1. Add the spice and cake flour in a mixing bowl. Add your oil
  2. 2. Add your water bit by bit while mixing with a wooden spoon until your Dough becomes a nice ball of non sticky Dough, if its to sticky just add a bit of flour and mix again.
  3. 3. Take small peace's and roll into small balls and place on a flat service that is covered with cake flour.
  4. 5. Use a non stick frying pan on a medium heat for making the wraps.
  5. 6. take a rolling pin or a wine bottle to roll out your small balls of Dough into thin round plate size wraps.
  6. 7. Then place in the pan and fry, no oil in pan. you will see the Dough will make bubbles on the top then turn it around and to the same on the other side until both sides are cooked.
  7. 8. Do the same with the others and keep aside on a plate and cover with a plate or keep in a sealed container.
  8. CHICKEN FILLING
  9. 1, Have a pan ready with the butter melted inside.
  10. 2. Take your Chicken strips and fry for abit untill brown in colour.
  11. 3. Add all your spices and other ingredients and fry until nicely cooked.
  12. SAUCE
  13. 1. Mix your Mayonnaise and Vegetable Achaar together so it forms a nice sauce
  14. FILLING METHOD
  15. 1. Take 2 Wraps and open them up
  16. 2. Put in the centre your chicken that youve fried.
  17. 3. Cover with your Mayonnaise Sauce
  18. 4. Take your Chopped Lettuce and cover the Mayonnaise.
  19. 5. Then add your grated Cheddar Cheese.
  20. 6. Fold the sided in so it forms a wrap.
  21. 7. Cut in half and plate as is
