Stuffed Boere Wors and Pap

Quick and easy way to enjoy Pap & Worse with Peppers, Onions, Garlic and Cheese.

Ingredients
  • 720 g Beef Wors ( 180g per piece)
  • 100 g Mixed Peppers (Diced)
  • 1/2 Onion (Diced)
  • 200 g Grated Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp Crushed Garlic
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Milk
  • 3 tbsp Blossom Margarine
  • 80 g Mixed BBQ Spice
  • 500 g Maize Meal (2 Cups)
  • 25 g Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 100 g Chopped Lettuce
Instructions
  1. 1. First of all take about 300ml of water and bring it to boil, and make your Maize Meal Pap by using the 500g Maize Meal. Must Be stiff Pap.
  2. 2. Take your 4 peaces of Wors And cut them in half so you will be able to put stuffing in.
  3. 3. Place your Wors in a baking pan and sprinkle some spice over it. Put a side.
  4. 4. Pre - Heat oven to 180 degrees.
  5. 5. Take a frying pan and heat your stove plate on a high heat (6) then melt your 3 Tablespoons Margarine in frying pan and add your Crushed Garlic.
  6. 6. Add your Mixed Peppers and fry it together, sprinkle a bit of the turmeric to give color to your mix.
  7. 7. Add your Diced Onions and fry until almost cooked.
  8. 8. Remove your mix out the frying pan and use the same pan to make your mayonnaise sauce.
  9. 9. Add your milk in the frying pan and bring to boil.
  10. 10. add the rest of your turmeric and your mayonnaise until your sauce is thick.
  11. 11. Take your Onions, Peppers and Garlic and stuff your wors, cover your wors with the grated cheese.
  12. 12. Oven Bake until cheese is melted and crispy.
  13. 13. When done take out of oven and get ready for plating.
  14. 14. Use your Mayonnaise Sauce for your pap and have your stuffed wors on the side.
