    MIXING METHOD
  • 1. Mix all dry ingredients together in a Large Mixing Bowl
  • 2. Mix the ingredients through until its all mixed properly.
  • 3. Add the Luke water slowly but surely in little a bit at a time, use your hands to mix the water and flour. Until you have a nice ball of Dough that does not stick to much.
  • 4. Use your fists to kneed the Dough for about 20 minutes so that it does not stick to your fists. You should be able to take it out of the bowl and not have it stick.
  • 5. Then take the Dough out the mixing bowl and place on a plate, wash the bowl and dry it. take oil and rub the whole inside of the bowl with a thin layer of oil.
  • 6. Place the Dough back in the bowl and rub a thin layer of oil on top of the Dough
  • 7. Place the bowl inside a plastic bag, a normal bag that can close or a black bag and tie it close and let it stand for an Hour, if its not that hot you can place the covered bowl outside in the sun to have the Dough rise quicker.
  • 8, After an Hour you take the Dough and roll it into small balls about a golf ball size. Roll all the balls until there is no more Dough left.
  • 9. Have a pot with oil 1/2 full on a low heat (heat 3) so that you can start to deep fry your Fat Cakes.
  • 10. Then you place your small balls of Dough in the oil and fry until Golden Brown all around.
