Vegan Cheddar Biscuits

This must be the best Vegan Biscuits I've ever made and tasted.

Ingredients
    INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 cup No Dairy Milk Plain
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 cup Cake Flour
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Vegan Butter ((Melted))
  • 1 1/2 cup Vegan Cheddar Cheese ((Grated))
  • 1/4 cup Vegan Butter
  • 1 tsp Dried Parsley
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
Instructions
    METHOD:
  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. 2. In a bowl mix together the Vegan Milk and Apple Cider Vinegar. Set aside for 5 minutes (this makes Vegan Buttermilk.)
  3. 3. In a large bowl mix together the Flour, Sugar, Baking Powder, Garlic Powder and Salt.
  4. 4. Mix the melted Butter into the Buttermilk. Then pour this mixture into the Flour mixture. Mix until just incorporated (without overmixing - some flour clumps are fine and will make for fluffy biscuits.)
  5. 5. Gently fold in the Grated Cheddar Cheese.
  6. 6. Scoop the batter into the baking sheet using a ΒΌ cup measuring scoop. Leave about 5cm of space between each scoop.
  7. 7. Bake for about 12 to 15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  8. 8. In the meantime mix together the melted Butter, Parsley and Garlic Powder. Brush on the top of the biscuits when they are done baking.
