METHOD
- 1. Cut each Hake Fillet or Steak in the middle with a knife so it forms a pocket.
- 2. Lay the ham slices on top of a flat plate and sprinkle cheese and chives over it, then roll the ham up and place it inside the fish pocket. secure with toothpick.
- 3. Dip the stuffed Hake in cake flour and in egg mix and cover all over with the bread crumbs.
- 4. Add oil to a frying pan enough so that it will cover half of the hake fillet when frying.
- 5. Place the Gordon Blue Fillets in the pan and fry on a medium heat until each side is Golden Brown. Fry about 12 - 15 minutes turn over frequently. Remove and drain oil on a paper towel.
- 6. Remove toothpick and serve with potato wedges or salad on the side.
Notes
TIPS: YOU SHOULD HAVE NICE TARTAR SAUCE AND SOME SLICED LEMONS ON THE SIDE.
