METHOD:
- 1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Grease 8-inch (20 cm) square baking pan and set aside.
- 2. Melt unsweetened Chocolate and butter in small heavy saucepan over a low heat, stirring constantly and set aside.
- 3. Beat eggs in a large bowl with electric mixer at a medium speed for 30 seconds. Gradually add Granulated Sugar, beating at a medium speed for about 4 minutes until very thick and lemon colored.
- 4. Beat in Chocolate mixture and Vanilla Essence. Beat in flour and salt at a low speed just until blended. Stir in the baking bar pieces and Walnuts with mixing spoon. Spread batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- 5. Bake 30 minutes or until edges just begins to pull away from the sides of the pan and centre is set.
- 6. remove pan to wire rack: Cool completely.
- 7. Cut into 2 -inch (5cm0 squares, Garnish with Powdered Sugar
